FOTD & OOTD: Feels like Spring?

Pulling some inspiration from Estee, I think I'll be posting FOTDS here from now on. I won't do it every day because I tend to keep a makeup look going for a few days at a time, but at least a few times a week you get to see my hot mess face here. 

I also did like a half ass OOTD, just because I was only wearing jeans and I didn't have on my shoes yet, but welp.

Today was unreasonably hot for the end of January. It was super muggy and humid and so it felt like the beginnings of spring (not really too happy bout that), so I made my makeup and outfit sort of reflect that so to speak.

Bask in the glory of my unmade face. Not a super pretty sight in this new camera, but hey! 

Also can we try to ignore the whopper of a zit on my chin? I was really lazy about cleaning my makeup brushes this past week and I paid the price. 

So for the eyes I busted out my trusty Wet N' Wild comfort zone palette. If you don't own this baby yet you are missing out. It's like $5 and it has great colours.

I guess I wasn't feeling black eyeliner or a wing today, so I broke out my old and crusty Sonia Kashuk pencil liner in Sapphire. It's not the best eyeliner, but it was a nice navy for a little pop.

And as always, I filled in my brows (I guess I forgot to pull back out those products) and added my favourite Rimmel Lash Flirt mascara.

For cheeks I just used my MAC blush in Warm Soul. You can peep my review on that fucker here. 

So I knew I wanted to wear something coral on my lips, but nothing crazy like Party Parrot or something. I pulled out my Maybelline Stay 10 glossy stain in Coral and it was just a nice wash of color for the day. 

Also we can all agree my mug is superior.

So I wanted to wear some light and bright clothes so this is what I came up with.

Top: forever 21

Jeans: BDG

Cardigan: Gap (I KNOW RIGHT?)

Choker: dazzlemeus

Oh and I threw in this photo of me being perplexed about how long my hair is. I had like this weird ass revelation in the mirror this morning like "holy shit my hair is actually really long" and I figured I needed to point that out to you all. 

P.S I really need to find the bed skirt that came with my bedding because you can totally see my coffee stained mattress. (good one Chris)
