I promised you guys a little while ago a MAC lipstick collection. I only own two other lipsticks that aren't the classic bullet style, so I just did all of my classic lipsticks.
SIDE NOTE: I have somehow lost my favourite lipstick (other than party parrot), REBEL. I need to order a new one ASAP. My poor baby won't be in this post. I am SORRY!
SUPER SIDE NOTE: I also let my friend borrow my bullet of Shy Girl, so I don't have that one on me either. It's a plain ass nude though so it won't really be missed from this post.

- watch me simmer -- amplified (limited edition)
- candy yum yum -- matte
- party parrot -- matte (limited edition)
- craving -- amplified
- heroine -- matte (limited edition)

Pastel blue based pink. This looks a lot better when you're not as close. Your lips need super moisturizing before applying though.
Bright cream orange. I fucking love how bright and straight orange this shade is.
NEON blue based hot pink. This could signal a fucking plane it's so bright.
Neon coral hot pink. My absolute favourite.
Mature mauve pink. This can look a little plummier at times and it wears like a dream.
Bright Barney purple. The most comfortable MAC matte I've tried too.

Dark red brown. Really opaque and vampy.

MY FAVORITE IS REBEL AND I CAN'T FIND MINE EITHER WTF. I also love Chatterbox, Up the Amp, Patisserie, Violetta, and Ruby Woo.

I see you've found a way to get that thing out the pictures :p I love that you buy lipsticks that are actually different than your lip color! How often do you reapply during the day?
ReplyDeleteMatte lipsticks usually last me about six or seven hours and then I need to touch up. Amplified finishes usually last about five because they transfer with food and such. Cremesheens/satins I can get like 3-4 hours.

ReplyDeleteShow Orchid! Super bright gorgeous pink. It's Pro, but you can order it online. I also love Viva Glam I (Matte Red) and See Sheer, which is like grapefruity red? That was my first MAC lipstick! My other favorites are Mattenes, so LE I think, but Night Blooming and Fashion Nomad are amazing.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite is Russian Red. It's a blue base, matte that is pretty comfortable to wear. It's really long lasting but just like with any matte color, lip exfoliation is a must. I have to say, great cropping out of the invincible pimple! I had two of them going last month; they were competing for the longest endurance. As a suggestion, along with the description of the color, please put the name of the color as well so it is known exactly which color is which. And your lips are fine.
ReplyDeleteThe only MAC lipsticks I have so far are Cyber, Craving, and Up the Amp. I agree that Craving wears like an absolute dream, but Up the Amp is probably my favorite shade. Amplified finish is definitely the most comfortable finish out of all of them, but I still want to try some matte shades.
ReplyDeleteFavorite MAC lipsticks: Cyber, Rebel, Heroine, Yung Rapunxel, Violetta, Girl About Town, and Russian Red. I've also grown pretty fond of their pro long wear lipstick.
ReplyDeleteYou should try Brick-o-La! Essiebutton said she loved it so I got it and it's beautiful. It's kinda a variation on a classic red lipstick. I also really like Freckletone.

ReplyDeleteSOO upset because all the good shades are sold out online and I don't have a MAC store in any of the malls near me (except for a tiny one outside nordstroms that told me you can only buy party parrot in a MAC store like hello i thought i was in one but ok) so no i am doomed to a life of buying whatever shade is closest to what i wanted SIGH
