Exciting News!

So as most of you guys know, I moved into an apartment near campus this past August. The other day I had "the talk" with my roommates about whether or not we were all going to renew our lease. One roommate of mine lives really close to school, so she decided that she is just going to commute because she'll save money that way.

Once finding that out, we realized that if one of our roommates left, our already high-for-what-we-get rent was going to go up because it would only be split between three people.

SOMEHOW out of sheer luck, my two friends Amanda and Devan's roommate is graduating when our roommate would be leaving, and they invited us to live with them! Now they have an actual HOUSE rather than an apartment. The kitchen is huge, the living room is spacious, and Chris and I would have an entire floor to ourselves. There's a little loft apartment downstairs that has a huge ass bedroom and our own bathroom. Did I also mention that we would finally have a dishwasher and they get Showtime? ALSO DEVAN HAS A CAT THAT LOOKS PART LION BUT IS 100% LOVE-ABLE.

Obviously Chris and I were like "OKAY YES PLEASE", but for the past like 36 hours, we had to wait to hear back from their landlord to get the okay. Literally the most excruciatingly anxious 36 hours ever.

In short, WE GOT THE HOUSE-APARTMENT-THING!

So literally we went from having to spend $368 a month plus utilities in our shitty ass apartment to spending only $288 a month plus utilities and with like triple the space and ten times the benefits.

Basically I'm super fucking excited to move in. I don't move in until May, but when I'm actually at that apartment-house all settled in, I would do a room tour or an apartment tour because it'll actually be NICE.

SO YAY SOMETHING WORKED OUT FOR ONCE!
