REVIEW: a few fortune cookie soaps!

If you guys are keeping up with my youtube videos, you'll know I just recently unboxed the Fortune Cookie Soap Spring Box (damn long name).

In those seasonal boxes, a little ten dollar voucher comes inside, so I decided to order some of the cult favourite FCS soaps to try.

Before I had even tried anything from FCS I had heard so many things about blueberry jackflaps, in the loop, and cinnamon rolled. All three of these are in my opinion the most amazing looking soaps and are really accurate to what their names are.

Lets see if they actually smell as good as they look.

~ONWARD~

First soap up for review is what I believe to be the cutest fucking soap FCS has ever done.

Blueberry Flapjacks

It's a light blue soap with a tiny little pat of butter on it, complete with transparent "maple syrup" soap topping. Literally the cutest fucking thing I have ever seen.

The scent is pretty much a mixture of strong sweet maple syrup with a hint of blueberry. It would've been amazing if they got a buttery scent thrown in there too, but it's pretty much flawless without it.

Next soap is easily my favourite "holy shit this is fucking ON POINT" scent wise soap.

In The Loop

The soap looks like a fortune cookie topped with huge fruit loop cereal pieces that has been drenched in milk.

I was really curious to see if this soap actually smelled at all like the cereal, but if my eyes were closed when I was smelling this thing, I probably would've thought that I had a bowl of fruit loop cereal sitting in front of me. This scent is so fucking accurate that I have no other description for it than the cereal itself.

Lastly, we have the soap that Chris wanted to try the most.

Cinnamon Rolled

This soap is literally dusted with cinnamon powder and looks like a fucking cinnamon bun.

This smells mostly of just straight up cinnamon, so if you don't really love cinnamon you probably wouldn't like this very much. There is a certain sweetness to this scent too, but for me it's not really SCREAMING cinnamon buns. Maybe if it had more of a cake-y type scent in there too. It does still smell really good though.

So there you have it! I have quite a collection of FCS soaps now.

Willing to try any of these? Do you own them?

  1. I have the In The Loop OCD sanitizer and oh my god every time I put it on people look at me and ask if I'm eating cereal. It smells crazy good.

  3. If they only made these, back in the day when my Mom washed my mouth out with soap...would have made it more interesting, more so than a Dove bar.
